About Us

We pride ourselves on helping Veterans create and sustain a healthy and suitable lifestyle when returning home from war. Every warrior has a next mission. We know that the transition to civilian life is a journey and for every Veteran, that journey looks different.

We are here for their first step, and each step that follows. Because we believe that every Veteran should have a positive future. There’s always another goal to achieve, another mission to discover. We are their partner in that mission.

At We Want Green Too, teamwork is at the heart of everything we do. Our mission to create sustainable housing in Detroit is powered by collaboration between community members, local leaders, and especially our veterans who we proudly bring into our workforce. We believe in second chances and shared purpose, offering veterans meaningful opportunities to apply their skills in building green homes that serve both people and the planet.
